Accurate and relevant people tracking is essential to understanding and improving customer conversion rates in retail outlets or traffic flow in malls, transport hubs, banks and smart buildings.

The Brickstream 3D Gen 2 features industry leading intelligent counting, increased coverage, integrated mounting and backward compatibility to help analytics service providers deploy value added people counting and tracking solutions.

For installers, the Brickstream 3D Gen 2 supports an integrated surface mount and wide range of mounting heights with only 2 lens options for easier inventory management and deployment. The Brickstream Device Manager simplifies configuration by easily enabling remote access to sensors in the field, and reduces maintenance effort by automating task management across large deployments from one central point.

Brickstream 3D, Gen 2

Intelligent Counting Reduce Cost + Simplify Deployment Protect Your Investment
Patented stereo vision and people counting technology accurately track and analyze traffic in real time. Streamlined installation, wide field of view
and broad mounting height range reduce
deployment cost and complexity.
Compatible with your existing analytics and device management solutions.
  • Stereo height measurement distinguishes between adults, children and other objects e.g. shopping carts
  • Filter zones, pass lines, exclusion lines and shopper group identification enable elimination of specific traffic and greatly reduce false counts
  • Stereo processing engine provides reliable performance in low light, low contrast, and very bright scenes
  • 21% wider field of view than the original Brickstream 3D
  • Integrated surface mount means no external mount required
  • Hidden wiring out back of device for a clean appearance (external side wiring also possible)
  • Wide mounting height range of 2.2 – 14m with only two lens options
  • Remote device configuration and management via standard web browser
  • Brickstream Device Manager offers remote management and task automation across large groups of sensors and multiple sites
  • Brickstream Validator tools provide remote validation of device accuracy

  • Employee & staff filtering out of the traffic to get true shopper traffics. See Video demo
  • Captures in-depth customer and site metrics including traffic, queuing and service
  • Works in varied conditions (dim or bright lighting, indoors or out, high or low mount)
  • Simple, unobtrusive, overhead mounting (recessed mount available)
  • Supports tilt on both the X and Y axis
  • Supports up to 32 metric collection zones per sensor
  • Height filtering can exclude children or count children separately
  • Filter zones, exclusion lines and pass lines enable tailoring for specific traffic situations
  • Shopping units are used to improve conversion rate accuracy
  • Multi-sensor path linking
  • Privacy filters
  • Remote device configuration and management via standard web browser
  • Remote task automation across large number of cameras using Brickstream Device Manager
  • Remote on-demand or scheduled accuracy validation
  • Java-free interface
  • No in-store computer required
  • Lens Options: 2.5mm for mounting height 2.2 – 7m; 6.0mm for mounting height 6 – 14m

  • Devices: Brickstream 3D+ then Brickstream 3D Gen 2 with USB (2510)
  • Distinguishes Customer’s counts from Employee’s counts
  • Examples of applicable use cases:
  • Small retail shops with one unique door for customers and employees
  • Stores with Employees coming in and out as part of their daily duties  (deliveries, customer assistance…)
  • Stores with Greeters or Security Guards standing at the entrance

How does Employee filtering work?

  • Employees wear BLE tag when on duty
  • All tags are registered to the camera
  • Camera tries to associates a track to a tag detected in proximity of the camera
  • If a tag matches the track data, then the track is identified as an employee, and counted as such
  • Why is FLIR implementation better?
  • FLIR algorithm combines multiple types of data emitted by the BLE tags to match employees to identified tracks
  • No need for extra device (button, other sensor…) than the Brickstream camera to be installed.
  • No need for manual action or physical process from the employeeCertain cases will be developed in future releases
  • Height above 14ft (4.2m) – due to the Bluetooth tag signal strength
  • Path Linked cameras
